Update; Collagen Hydrolysate from Wild Cod
Our Collagen Hydrolysate was previously derived from wild cod, but we have recently switched to a new source of wild marine fish, including pollock, haddock and flounder. This is because cod has become an endangered species and no longer has the MSC certification that certifies that the fish was caught sustainably.
Protecting endangered fish species and preserving our oceans is an important issue and we are committed to contributing to these efforts. This is why we have switched to more abundant and non-endangered fish species for our Collagen Hydrolysate.
Our new collagen comes from the same supplier in Norway and is processed in the same high-quality manner. It is the same high quality and contains almost identical concentrations of amino acids glycine, lysine and proline
We understand that choosing sustainable products is important to our customers, which is why we are pleased to have made this responsible choice. We remain committed to using sustainable and ethical sources for all of our products and hope that our customers will also contribute to the preservation of our oceans and their inhabitants.
